Walk a street for the hall
The main job before the 28 November election is getting a card into every letterbox in the school zone. It takes a few weekend walks, a phone, and good shoes.

Where we walk
The Murrumbeena Primary School zone, plus 200 metres around it, split into 7 sectors along Dandenong Road, the railway, Murrumbeena Road and Poath Road, and then into 28 walks of about 250 to 550 letterboxes each.

More drops
The campaign keeps going after the election, and so do the letterbox drops. Dates to come.
How it works
- 1
Sign up
Leave your name and email in the volunteers portal. A volunteer manager approves you, usually within a day.
- 2
Pick a walk
Choose a walk on the map — or ask to join a walk captain. Most people walk in pairs.
- 3
Collect your cards
Your walk captain gives you the cards and a walk sheet with every street.
- 4
Walk and tap
As you go, tap houses on the map on your phone, or drag a box over a whole street. Everyone sees the progress live.
The few rules
- Respect "No junk mail" stickers, and mark them on the map so nobody else knocks.
- Letterboxes only: no gates past the letterbox, no locked buildings, nothing on doorsteps or cars.
- Wear your campaign lanyard, and carry a few "host a sign" flyers.
- Walk in pairs after dark. Evening walks finish by 8 pm.
- Children are welcome with their own parent, but not in school uniform or as a school activity.
- If someone asks something you can't answer, point them to hallformurrumbeena.win.
